The Academy Awards Pirate 2 Pirate Global Party was a great success! Part of the face2face/stick2stick craze is the “Pirate2Pirate Kopimi Station” at cafe MÖRDER, Berlin. Come along and get the files! Empty 8 GB stick required!
any idea if you were to hook a usb hub with multiple usb drives into the destination side of this, would it allow you to copy to all of them at once? i’ve had a samizdat dissemination device in my head for a while but haven’t gotten around to the brain of the design, this could be perfect.
@Aram thanks for the info. that device you linked was actually the impetus for my idea, trying to do it for a skosh less than the prices everyone seems to want for one. probably a good reason they cost so much.

That’s retarded.
As in cool retarded.
What copying device is that mediating between the USB-sticks? We could really use one in the s23k bus in Stockholm!
it’s a “Equip USB 2.0 OTG”. but you ll need an extra power converter. the batteries don’t last very long ;-)

it says it reads from card readers but i don t think it would write to a hub parallel. you need something like this http://www.e-martuk.com/enter.html?lang=en-uk&target=d14.html&lmd=39679.400104
That is an amazing idea. Hope to see more of these around the world!

It’d also be pretty cool to see this used with G.R.L. i.e. Give LaserTag to people on the street who see it being used.
