I shouted out the F@Labs in a interview about net.art

It’s kind of a provocatie title, I only mentioned that flash-movies aren’t net art, as most of them only need the medium for distribution, not for existance. They could be played on a DVD-player…

  1. yeah I think you’re right that in and of themseleves flash movies are just movies being distributed on the web. Its just a case I think of the internet absorbing other media, or providing a new tool for an older medium. If something became net art by virtue of being online, why do we still watch “tv shows” on NBC.com?
