Google Car craze has arrived Mexico City. But when mapping Tepito, the renowned epicenter of cumbia and piracy , where everything but dignity is for sale – Google’s Car showed up too early and there is something missing in the Street View…

Where is the stuff?

  1. Rosario says:

the stuff is there if you search for it… the street sale is only a couple days a week as I remember. Go on a sunday and see

  2. Josh Heller says:

I don’t think there is any conspiracy at play here. The Google street car simply can’t drive down the street when the market is going on, because there isn’t any room for the car.

The views in this video are very familiar, as I’ve been too late for the Tepito market like three times.

I picked up some art house counterfeit there

  3. Tona Pollo says:

    Ha ha
I’m from México, Born near by Tepito,I can tell is crowded every day, what probably happened is that people get scared by this car full of cameras.

police check this place out a lot, so the people is used to disappear when they see a car paroling, and as soon as the cars are gone the hawkers return to they respective places, this usually doesn’t take more than 5 minutes.
