The Googlher is a device which plugs into your computer and triggers a bullet vibrator any time that Google pings your web browser (with the aid of The Googlher Firefox Add-on). By doing so, The Googlher translates Google’s pervasive reach into highly stimulating vibrations for vaginal or anal web browsing. Mistrust and fear Google’s omnipotent ways no longer as the web giant profoundly soothes, touches, and moves you. This is perhaps the biggest thing to happen to augmented reality since the invention of methamphetamine.

The Googlher was produced with both open source software and hardware. For full instructions on how to make your own, visit the instructions page.

The Googlher Firefox Add-on is based on Jamie Wilkinson’s Google Alarm.

SPEED intern with me on a high profile project tomorrow night in Berlin! You still need an internship for your culture/media/art program? This SPEED internship is your chance!!!

Hey all!! I’m currently working on an update of my piece Random Screen  and I’m in the delicate situation to need to EMPTY 25 beer cans for this project by thursday morning. I have no clue how to do this by myself and I would very much appreciate your help on processing the liquid of these beer cans. Please post your application with picture in the comments and make sure to reference your expertise and prior experience in this very field.

All friends are welcome to hang out with me at my studio tomorrow night Oct. 5 in Berlin-Wedding any time after 8pm! :)

git-friendly is a collection of shell scripts for automating common git actions: push, pull, branch, merge. I got tired of typing 3 or 4 commands to do such basic stuff, and now my life is awesome.

  • `push` also copies a GitHub compare URL to your clipboard for easy pasting (!)
  • `pull` will run commands like “bundle install” or “npm install” after finishing
  • `branch` will track remote branches if available
  • relevant commands stash & pop local changes as needed
  • less time fighting git = more time actually doing work

Check out the code and docs on GitHub

To install, just copy/paste: bash < <( curl https://github.com/jamiew/git-friendly/raw/master/install.sh)

Now get back to work:

Just listen to what everyone is saying!

  • "Amazeballs." --@paul_irish
  • "Don't let git PUSH you around. git git friendly!" --Max Salzberg, Diaspora*
  • "I am putting the fucking 'technology' back in Free Art & Technology" --yours truly
