pixelarts.6x.to is a pixeleditor, that allows you to create icons online, and have them displayed in the gallery with about 7000 others (so far) I just ran a little script over Alexander Schlegel’s website, which posted about 200 FAT images. :-D Alex, I hope you’ll forgive me, if not, let’s settle this in a state-of-the-art Super Street Fighter 2 battle!!!pixelarts

With Sundance coming up I’m trying to craft a good excuse for why all of our videos look like shit and are shot on $300 digital cameras. Here is what I’ve got so far, please chime in if you have additions:

The Pocket School of film:

A new form of American documentary cinema in which primary filming is done exclusively on consumer grade digital point and shoot cameras that can fit comfortably in ones pocket. The ability to never be without camera results in a higher likelihood of capturing informal everyday moments that would otherwise be missed. Filmographers of the Pocket School should ideally be able to produce a camera and begin filming in less the 10 seconds at all times. For examples if this form see the work of the Graffiti Research Lab.
