Hello my fellow Americans. This election is quickly coming to a close, and the time to make a decision is running out! Whomever you choose to be the next leader of this country will have to lead us through these hard – so hard – and trying times.
It is important that you pick your favorite master debater and see who screws you the least; or most. To each their own. It is not our place to judge either way we might be fucked.
The one thing we can be certain is that no matter who you elect, someone is getting fucked! Or – perhaps – we are all getting fucked. Rather than fight it, we may as well bend over and enjoy all this presidential election has to offer.
Detroit native James Dewitt Yancey (also known as J Dilla and Jay Dee) was one of the most prolific and influential producers in the history of hip-hop. The Legacy Lives On is a memorial tribute consisting of an urban scale timer that counts down to 70 years after Yancey’s death, at which point his music will be free of copyright and enter the public domain. This temporary version of the piece was installed on the facade of the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History in Detroit on Oct. 5 and 6, 2012.
The software and source code used to project the memorial can be downloaded and modified for use with other artists at the links below.

FAT GOLD exhibition is postponed until March 2013. While we are all really outraged at having to change our plans so abruptly due to extensive disaster from Hurricane Sandy, we want to ensure that NYC fully recovers before we unleash FAT GOLD on the city.
With many of us located in NYC, we do encourage you to help and volunteer in the wake of Sandy. You can help by visiting or donating to the recovery efforts of the NY Red Cross.
We will continue to release new posts and projects on the FFFFF.AT leading up to March.
BE SAFE AND BE PREPARED NYC!
